Last night was spent watching the 1984 classic film “Ghostbusters” outside in Austin’s Mueller Lake Park, munching popcorn lying on a blanket. The film hasn’t aged due to the great dialogue, highlighted by the following scene.
After a overzealous bureaucrat forces the Ghostbusters to power down their ghost storage system, which results in it exploding and all the ghosts escaping to run rampant in New York, they’re hauled into the mayor’s office along with the remorseless bureaucrat.
Ray, played by Dan Ackroyd, and Pete, played by Bill Murray, explain to the mayor who is to blame:
“It was perfectly fine until dickless turned the machine off,” Ray says.
“Is that true?” asks the mayor.
“Yes, it’s true,” Pete replies. “This man has no dick.”
